Oh please, give me a break. If the Sony combination was such a quantum leap, there wouldn't be any Nikon and Canon professionals left. I have no intention of ever switching to Sony. So yes, I would like to see lens/camera data that pertains to my gear. You like the A7 series, that's obvious. Enjoy it, but don't sit here and slander DxO testing "protocols" with your conspiracy theories. Just go enjoy your gear and stop trolling.
I have frequently used Nikon for binocular repairs and parts, and have always had an excellent, professional service.
I sent a camera in for repair. They received it and promptly stated that they had identified and repaired the faults. After paying almost 70 I got the camera back and quickly noticed it had the exact same problems. This is the service I would expect from the flagship repair center.
A month ago i scratched my focusing screen whilst trying to clean it.Since i wasn't able to source a spare online i called Nikon UK.They were really nice on the phone, but unfortunately the part wasn't in stock so they told me they would call me back when it was.A few weeks later a new focus screen turned up in the mail, no charge, no bill, just a friendly note.I can't judge their camera repair service, but i couldn't have asked for a better service. Thank you.
