excellent store with great customer service. Never been steered wrong and always happy to help and offer a reccomendation. 100% must visit for 40k and warhammer fans as well, competitive prices and service.
I went to this shop.tiday and I must say I was in shock. After looking through the so did all.i could see where empty boxes all.over the shop you couldn't even see the floor. Rubbish stacked 5ft high. I shall assume this shop no longer is trading
Still amazes me how messy and unorganised the store is. May be more welcoming and profitable if they bothered cleaning up.
Bought a game from them a year ago or so - good service. I ask a question over the phone, yet the man, with a negative and rather hostile attitude, says to me "you shouldn't be calling up video game retailers asking about a second hand console..." the worker said this despite the Barkman website said to call them for a price on the PS4 - didn't state if it was second hand or not. I don't think I'll ever go to Barkman for anything again - this incident alone has made me change my attitude towards this company. If you think about shopping there I wouldn't recommend - instead look at GAME, Zavvi or Amazon.
This is possibly the best independent video game retailer around. While browsing space is limited, the website contains full details of products and the owner is always friendly, helpful and offers fantastic advice and suggestions.
