Got a macbook pro (mid 2012) that had a faulty key 'o' to be specific. Initially I booked an appointment at Apple where they said that in order to fix one key they would have to replace the entire keyboard and that it would cost 240 pounds! and that it would take 10 to 14 days to fix.I then proceeded to iSmash in Kingston, got the keyboard replaced for half the price (120 pounds) fixed and ready to collect the following day.Would highly recommend everyone to avoid Apple and head to ismash to fix their gadgets.
Website claimed they'd be able to fix my specific phone's audio issue in 90 minutes. At the store, staff (reasonably) explain that they need to assess the issue and keep the phone for 1-2 days. In the meantime, I had already removed security and cleared personal info, all for nothing. Obviously the website is set up as false advertising for so that customers are lured in. Not coming back
Excellent service. Replaced battery and resealed my Apple Watch at a very sensible cost. Apple had advised me to replace with a new watch as their charges made repair uneconomical. The shop ordered in the battery and it came in less than a week. Daniel S was extremely helpful, offering further advice and as I was his first customer of the day, he went the extra mile by assisting with something else too, thank you. All the staff are knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble.
I don't often leave google reviews but my service at iSmash Kingston was too good to not leave a review. Highly recommended by a friend to come here to get my iPhone 6 plus screen repaired. Store was understaffed yet the manager Daniel S and his colleague Daniel P were incredibly helpful, giving me great advice on what to do and how to protect my screen. Service was really quick, the price was really good, and the quality of the repair was impeccable, no faults whatsoever. Highly recommend iSmash to anyone in need of any tech repairs.
