The Foresters pub/ restaurant is in Hampton Wick ( walking distance from Kingston upon Thames shopping centre)The Foresters is a very good place to visit, it has a good selection of beers and wine and the food and service is excellent. The prices i feel are slightly high but i still think its definitely worth a try for anyone wanting good food, and a friendly atmosphere.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Good selection of wines but personally I would prefer a few more craft beers on tap. Never tried the food.
Really cosy place to go for an evening drink in the winter. The open fires make it a really snug place to curl up and have a drink and maybe sit and play a game from their selection. Unfortunately havent been able to eat there because the kitchen is closed on Mondays (my day off!) but it looks like the food would be good!
it has been an nice time at The Foresters. we went there for a Christmas party therefore also the team helped to spend a good time, but anyway the team of waiter and waitress was very friendly and helpful. with the regard the food it was good and the portion of good size. I had trout and smoked salmon as starter, but also the turkey crown that I was well presented and great portion. Big variety of draft beer and ale.
+ Place is well decorated and looks good. Waiters were nice and good humoured. - Both my partner and I ordered the turkey pie which sounded delish. Both pies were poorly served and terribly salty. Actually, you can't even call them pies as we were served with 3 little pots containing small amounts of meat, veggies and sauce, and then a little cap of puff pastry. Is this a pie? For dessert we ordered a classic sticky toffee pudding. Guess what... It was salty as well much to our dismay! In the end while paying a hefty bill of 55 (for a pub...) we wrote a complaint to the chef without any comments from the waiter. This is a clear: "Not recommended!"
