The service provided was professional, efficient and extremely flexible to fit around the our working arrangements. The team provided immediate feedback from any notifications regarding the status of the property, or correspondence from the landlord. Additionally, they were happy to make adjustments that were required prior to moving which helped alleviate much of the stress associated with moving properties. Really grateful for the help!
Well where shall I start - rude, arrogant, poor communication, high letting fees and sorry to say better avoided. My house really would have been let efficiently by an online agent. What is the point of paying massive fees?! Nicky Hill the owner was exceptionally rude. After parting with close to 4000 in agency fees (let only), you would think she might have taken some time to answer politely and with a degree of care and concern. My feeling is that this Estate Agency is ALL about the money. Once the deal is done you are left with poor customer service and apathy. Very dissatisfied, especially since this business says its family run - sorry no warmth or care here. I wanted to support them, moreover like them, and the family run marketing tag does sound cosy. But being on the end of the telephone with these people is an ordeal. Dont be fooled landlords, shop around, be savvy and read the fine print!
So far we have had a good experience using Carringtons to let our property; they are all very helpful and respond promptly to emails. Their team of support contractors (electricians and builders) are also excellent and have done some great work for us.
Carringtons were exceptional. Where 2 other agents failed, Carringtons succeed. Alex, the sales manager ensured the process was smooth, from the very first moment through to end. The whole team, including Michael whom did the viewings and eventually sold the property was superb, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
