Sub par education, premium prices. Being foreign gets you treated as a special needs student - you're withheld from basic maths curriculum, youre ostracised instead of being encouraged, and the only challenging that happens is challenging of one's ability. Currently attending university after spending 2 years at Canbury, and I find the most basic fundamental knowledge required for my course was never taught at this school. Avoid if you're planning on taking STEM courses.

Ah yes Canbury, a school where your teachers will bring sex up at every opportunity, harass students while their having panic attacks and if your kid is getting bullied by a few students? don't worry because this team will turn the whole class against you. That being said I didn't get punished at all for walking out of school during the day or for dying my hair bright blue for that matter so I suppose its not all bad? Yes I will admit then even though I was getting A*s in my foundation maths papers i wasn't allowed to go up to higher and when a class was giving me such bad panic attacks that I could never sleep the night before or after, I was told that I should just put up with it. Thats not even talking about locking us out of the toilets for a week or the sports teacher that took such an interest in the boys that us girls were often just left to our own devices during those class periods. In all honesty there were a couple of very nice teachers here, my favourites being the Spanish and Science teacher, that being said I didn't even take Spanish so maybe I'll let that do the talking for me. Overall a great school if you want to make enemies, fake friends and have metal scars of a fiftyish year old guy going into great depths about the sex life of Juliet Capulets nannys sex life and chickens sex life. Its sure isn't worth the small fortune..
Canbury was the best thing that ever happened to me. I struggled in a big school and Canbury opened so many doors for me. The teachers are lovely and the pastoral care is brilliant. Thank you Canbury. I would also like to add that Freya's review is the furthest thing from the truth! I was at Canbury when she was there - this is so wrong.
