Beautiful little garden in the centre of Richmond Park. Best time to visit is when the flowers are in bloom (Spring and summer) but it's lovely and quiet all year round.Has new free toilets by the disabled parking entrance. Disabled-friendly with gentle slopes and no steps or difficult surfaces. If you're not with someone disabled you have to park in the regular car parks and walk there.
Wonderful walks in the beautiful plantings.Lovely beds laid out round a small stream with a pond and ducks.Good for a quiet stroll, with plenty of spaces to sit and relax.Great for picnics in fine weather.
The Azaleas & Rhodedendrons are absolutely stunning in late April/May. But lovely all year through. Lots of wildlife and good disabled access. A great place to escape busy everyday life
Beautiful space within Richmond Park. We visited in early January and there were flowers and colour aplenty. Can't wait to come back when the rhododendrons are in flower. Has a waterless toilet block!
Had a wonderful lunch, with my wife. Delicious and interesting food with wonderful service. Highly recommended but DO book ahead if you want to eat in the dining area as opposed to the cafe/coffee area as it is usually busy, especially on the weekends. Parking is slightly awkward but didn't sour my experience. Lovely afternoon all round.
