Apparently every housewife and househusband in Kingston comes to this library with loud children screaming and talking loudly. The librarians also talk very loud, and people are not quiet at all. Come here if you're looking for a chat and a place to loudly have phone calls, not for quiet.

impossible to use it if you need a quiet place to learn. Annoying loud staff, smelly, disgusting old hoarder men with their dirty paper pieces, children simply come in to the "reading room" to cry and shout, nobody say a word. Ridiculous place, good for nothing. I don't suggest to use it for anything, just pick up your books and leave.
Staff members don't know how to pick up a phone.. I've been calling for 2days being kept on hold for 15-20 mins.. I just needed to ask one question so I don't have a wasted journey. Go somewhere else!
Staff don't seem to understand that libraries are supposed to be quiet. Constantly filled with people chatting in loud voices or talking on the phone. If you want someqhwre to sit and quietly read a book you are better off going to the market Square!
