Staff on Bronte ward are in atUncaring, sloppy, information given between sisters varies from one to the other. Sister Simmins is the rudest, uncaring, arrogant nurse I ever met. She argues, she gives incorrect information to family. Very unpleasant, uncaring person, should never have been a nurse she does not have the qualities of a good nurse. A typical manager maybe but no people skills at all.On the small plus side a few of the nurses are very good.

This is my first ever experience to use NHS service. A&E staff is in race of numbers. My partner was not seen until 3 hours, he has very bad skin issue and after 3 hours was told to go home and keep it dry. Within last night the condition has gone worse. Now I don't know what to do, where to take my partner.

04/01/2019I spent this morning in the Eye Unit. I was seen 30 minutes before my appointment, received excellent care, attention and expertise. Each member of staff was courteous, focused on my problem and responsive to my needs.I went there concerned, and left knowing that I would continue to receive excellent care and attention until my eye problem has been put resolved.

Ive spent about 3.5 hours in the A&E with my 17 months old son and had about roughly three minutes of face time with the staff. At the very beginning they told me they needed a urine sample and so I spend those 3.5 hours with my half naked son in my lap trying to make him pee. About two hours in, a doctor came in and performed a brief checkup. She left without saying much. One and a half hours later a nurse came in and told me my son was going to get antibiotics. When I asked her what the diagnosis was, she left the room. I heard her tell the doctor he wants to know why. She returned telling me it was an ear infection and they they didnt need the urine sample any more. This left me wondering: first, couldnt the doctor have told me right away so I wouldnt have had to try to make a sick and sleepy toddler pee for those extra one and a half hours. And second, had I not asked would they have sent me home without ever telling me about the diagnosis?

Kingston hospital admin staff bank - DIABOLICAL!! I signed upto their staff bank this year, 2018, and after the full 3 month period of going through the recruitment process, they failed dismally to find a part-time role for me, even though they were fully aware at interview stage and once I'd been handed over to the bank team (who appear to be a team of incompetent children in my opinion) that I was a part-time carer at home, and had to get the correct home/work life balance. I ended this ridiculous and incompetent situation by e-mailing them to inform them of my utter disgust, which culminated in my sending my ID badge back and removing myself off their books with immediate effect. My ultimate advice is avoid, avoid, avoid!!!
